Improving PTSD Symptoms in Young Children

In a recent sample of NC children ages 0-5 and their caregivers who were receiving Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for trauma- or attachment-related symptoms, the following outcomes were achieved.

Using the Young Child PTSD Checklist (YCPC), the children’s symptoms of PTSD showed great improvement at the end of treatment, as seen in the following graphs.
