Grace Shaughnessy, MSc, is the Evaluation Specialist for the Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) training team, and the Senior Leader Trainer for both the CPP and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) training teams at the NC Child Treatment Program. Grace has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master’s of Science in Lifespan Developmental Psychology. Her course of study included work in Organizational Psychology and a graduate research project on the relationship between emotions and racial bias. In her free time, Grace has volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem, and also serves as a licensed foster parent. She is currently enrolled in a second master’s degree program studying social work, with the goal of earning an LCSW and continuing her work in child mental health. In her free time, Grace enjoys reading novels and spending time with her many animals, including two dogs, one cat and six chickens.
