Jessica Burch, LCSW, returned to the NC Child Treatment Program as a full-time Training Facilitator in 2024, after spending two years serving as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinician for a small community group practice and as a clinical supervisor to Master’s-level LCSW candidates. Jessica began her work at the Center for Child & Family Health as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) clinician at the Urbaniak Clinic in 2015, then joined NC CTP’s consultation team for TF-CBT in 2018, and then spent some time with the Post-Adoption Support Program in 2020. She also supported the Trauma-Informed Communities Program in the fall of 2022 as a part-time contractor.  

Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in Applied Developmental Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, and her Masters of Social Work degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2010. She obtained her clinical license in Ohio in 2012 and has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a myriad of clinical settings ever since. With a background in Theater, Jessica brings enthusiasm, creativity, and spontaneity to any team she is on, and particularly enjoys making learning fun and engaging. Jessica is an adult adoptee who brings a passion for advocacy, positive racial identity development, and supporting caregivers in developing trauma-informed practices to her work. Jessica has been trained in ARC, DBT, PCIT, RPC, and TF-CBT, and is looking forward to continuing to grow in knowledge and in practice through roles on the TILT team, LEAF and TF-CBT consultation teams, and in the ARC Internal Train-the-Trainer program.
