Kelly Knapp, PMP, has served as a nonprofit project manager since 2011, with practical experience creating, implementing, and evaluating programs serving low-income youth and children and adolescents recovering from trauma. Kelly joined the NC Child Treatment Program as Program Coordinator in 2019, and transitioned to the role of Training Administrator in 2024. Her responsibilities include organizing the Annual EBT Conference, as well as managing the NC CTP website and Provider Roster database.

Prior to her work with NC CTP, Kelly developed and directly provided educational programming for elementary and middle-school-aged students, including social-emotional learning and academic supports for children with high needs at the YMCA of the Triangle, and youth cooking classes at Midway Community Kitchen and Kidzu Children’s Museum. Kelly earned Bachelors of Arts degrees in Hispanic Literature and Cultures and Women’s Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2023. Areas of focus: Nonprofit Project Management, Data Management, Program Development, Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs), Event Coordination, Partnership-Building, Team Leadership.
